Maintenance Scheduler

Role Overview

Join our team supporting a leading global manufacturer as a Maintenance Scheduler

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support operational excellence. Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, you'll ensure resources, materials, and schedules are aligned to keep production running efficiently.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules using Maximo (EAM) and SAP MES (ERP).
  • Prioritize and adjust schedules based on business needs, resource availability, and urgent maintenance requirements.
  • Create and manage detailed work orders, including labor, parts, materials, and tooling requirements.
  • Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Coordinate spare parts inventory, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
  • Communicate planned maintenance activities and submit factory impact requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and site procedures.
  • Analyze maintenance performance data and KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support sustainability initiatives through maintenance practices that reduce energy consumption and waste.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or technical certification in Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or maintenance coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems, with Maximo experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP MES.
  • Understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment information, and maintenance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing spare parts inventory and supplier relationships.
  • Trade background in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
  • Formal training in maintenance planning and scheduling methodologies.
